Atlast the movie, I had been waiting for is here, the waiting was so tough that I even blogged when I was waiting. Forget the hype. I watched Dark Knight because I am fan of the series and always have been. I was in my 3rd grade when I watched my first batman movie. It was so dark and evil back then, but I still loved every bit of it.
And now I watch the Dark Knight..more eerie, more scary, more powerful, more evil and more of Joker. When I saw the promos, I was constantly disturbed that the movie was more of the Joker than the Batman. After I watched the movie, this is the first movie where all my thoughts have been on the villain rather than on what the hero did.
Batman does a few antics, packs in a few technology and suffers at the hands of the Joker. While the Joker plans and schemes ahead of everyone, thinks like a lunatic; yet with the precision of a scientist acts out his role like a dream. And so many others have said it, and I would say it too. Give him an Academy award; he deserves it…He plays Joker with elan, makes him look cruel, sadistic and as perfect as he could ever be. I think he even went beyond what the real Joker was. Now the Dark Knight stars Heath Ledger as the Joker, and that would be Late Heath Ledger, just in case you did not know. He was only 28 when he died in January 2008. He has already been nominated for the Academy awards so I really want him to win it this time. I am sad that hollywood has lost a star of this calibre. I really wonder how someone could undergo such a transformation and live the character.
The storyline is long, and it is one of the longest movies I have seen. It is engrossing, dark, chilly and gives you the feel that you are in the midst of the action. The storyline does not belong to an ordinary superhero movie. It would be more at home in the slick academy award winning genre. The storyline has action, but it does not disturb the aesthetics of the movie one bit, nor does it come in the way of the brilliant performances. Yeah, I would have liked more footage on two-face though..
All through my review I have not quoted a single scene from the movie. Because I do not wish to spoil the fun you are going to have when you watch the movie. But still, if you are one of those who wishes to read the plot before watching it. Read it here. So what is the final verdict? Watch it. 6 out of 5 stars for this one. Why so serious? Go watch it and have fun.

Prerequisites: You have to star in one of the terminator and the Batman series (remember Freeze?). This is how machines plan to take over the world. Check out the trailer of the Terminator: Salvation. Its not much, Its more like a sneak peek than a trailer and doesn’t tell you much about the storyline.
Considering I am watching Dark Knight the day it releases, I can’t wait for the terminator as well. The 3rd part was a bit too boring in my opinion and I hope part 4 delivers something better.

I just couldn’t resist myself from writing a review for this movie. I could in fact sum up the whole review in just one line. “Why are you wasting time reading this review…Go and watch the movie….”
I decided to watch Iron Man after I read an article about how the movie had grossed more than Speed Racer…Now if SR was good, then this had to be excellent…and I wasn’t disappointed one bit..Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark is a natural for the role as he plays it with ease…He shows the suffering and the pain he goes through at the hands of terrorists and then again at the hands of his business partner…(Oh! God, too many spoilers, thats why I did not want you to waste your time reading this review…) The technology is realistic and the CG are added in the correct quantity…Not too much, not too less…I cannot but help drawing comparisons between Tony and Bruce Wayne…which makes me want to watch Dark Knight ASAP….
For Gwyneth, her role is a walk in the park and she does complete justice to her role…The action scenes are well shot and look great and slick…
I would like to sum up by saying that, out of the many superhero movies, this is one of those movies with a
heart…not just special effects…

From the creators of matrix trilogy, comes another movie…Speed racer. I decided to watch the movie, since I could not get tickets for anything else; plus the trailers weren’t too bad. But watching the movie, I was just blown away..The eye candy was great…the shots were superb..some places they went really overboard, but then what do you expect from a movie which talks about cars driving at around 800 mph? The plot is simple. The races are fixed by a cartel of multinational capitalists who don’t care about the sport. Speed racer is out to stop them..
I realized during the course of the movie that the reason wachowski movies are so cool is because they try to convert japanese anime into cinema with real life actors. The action in the Matrix was inspired by “Ghost in the shell” (which happens to be one of my favourite manga series) In the same way, speed racer comes from an anime of the same name. Japanese cartoons a.k.a manga or anime is one of my favourite genre of tv shows..its no surprise that I loved watching the movie.
Since the movie is an anime adaptation, there is should ideally be no surprise value in the movie; after all you know that the hero will succeed. But, the exaggerated graphics, cool effects and the neck breaking speed keep you at the edge of the seat..since you wait with bated breath for the way the hero wins…unrealistically of course Forget logic, have fun…

Now that sounds interesting..Batman is one super hero I have been a fan of ever since I was a kid. I watched my first batman movie when I was 8 and I have watched every single batman movie ever since. I grew up admiring Bruce wayne and batman. The very fact that Batman was the only superhero who did not have any super human powers appealed to me all the more. Plus we’ve got two face this time around…what more can a batman fan ask for…
The sinister and eerie look of Gotham city (loosely based on NY) and the dark villians who always had a personality of their own, had a dark sad story behind them made the plot only more and more intriguing..I am really sure this is one movie any batman fan should not miss…especially when it features the Joker…Dont miss the trailer below, You should just check out the honors the video has got the very day it has been uploaded…

“First imprejon is de last impression” says Anil Kapoor and it is definitely not good. I really do not even understand how anyone could even make such a movie. Is there no system of quality control..Didn’t anyone watch the movie before it was released in the theatres. I am forced to watch Akshay kumar jumping(flying) from rooftops, window sills and the whole thing looks like I am forced to watch an extended Thums up ad. Anil Kapoor has been wasted throughout the movie..Saif tries to act, but then it is not easy to do so in such a terrible movie..Akshay tries to act too..every now and then..
If you though that Jhoom Barabar Jhoom was bad..This is terrible. You have anorexic Kareena in a bikini (my earlier post) , but that won’t sell a movie this bad. In fact, nothing will..There is not a single memorable song. (ok, dil hara will grow onto you if listen to it repeatedly…) but then all that is not reason for you waste your money on such a movie..Everyone who is a part of the movie should cleanse their sins by bathing in the Ganges…The plot is almost non existent, but whatever is left of it, is filled with gaping loopholes…The action scenes are amateur, the graphics terrible..Please please grow up bollywood..Even if I left my brains at home…its still very nonsensical…I do not want to go and watch an amateur video of the directors and actors having a bizarre party, I get better stuff on Youtube..
If someone has watched the movie…please do tell me why at all Kareena choses to tell her part of the story to Saif and not to Akshay Kumar in the end? Just so that we could stretch the movie or did she deliberately want Akshay to get electrified?
I watched this movie really sometime after the movie got released..I read a lot of reviews on this movie and all that made me feel that I would be wasting my money on this movie…But then it was the late night show and I had no other options so I decided to go ahead and watch Krazzy 4…Here is a quick review…First things first..the actors are all mindblowing…Everyone played their part well..Everyone acts mature enough to handle the role…its fun popcorn entertainment with a level of decent thinking put into it…If people can watch movies like kya kool hai hum, then I guess those would be the people who write bad reviews about a movie like this…Arshad warsi is mindblowing in the movie..plays his part very well..and the best part is noone overreacts..yes, there are lot of irrelevant and haphazard scenes such as the actors breaking into a song because they need 1 rupee..but then, please understand that this is after all bollywood..I hated Rakhi sawant’s item number…it was pathetic…not at all required in the movie…I hated Shahrukh’s item number, it was worse…He really looked gay in those clothes and the way the guests were watching him dance..it was really really gay…maybe the should’ve interchanged songs…lol…Hrithik’s spl appearance song was great..great dancing…Other things I disliked were the finishing lectures from the Krazzy4… and the fact there is no mushy romance and running around trees…But overall, I loved the movie..do drop in ur comments abt what u think of the movie or what u think of my comments…I really know now that sex sells…how do I know that? I tag a post with the word “bikini” and I’ve got so many page views already…but of course its all by people who do not wish to comment, lest they be seen…lol…

I haven’t seen many on the roads, but happened to come across the demo car and found that it really looks spacious and big..The boot has been designed in such a precise way that it doesn’t become a misfit on the swift..
I would only complain about two aspects..One, there is nothing but the grille to differentiate the dzire from the swift when looked at from the front..Two, I personally am not too impressed with the name of the car…
I was watching the much hyped about bikini song playing exclusive on MTV…I could be wrong but I really am not so impressed with what Kareena has done to herself..She look sort of anorexic…Here head actually looks quite big on her very very petite body…I just wish that she had not starved herself to look this slim…I liked earlier…I still do cos I really am a great fan of hers..Here is what wikipedia has to say about Tashan

Its really been sometime since I blogged now, I guess since I am finally back home and I can sit down and write some nonsense now…I spent the weekend watching Jodha Akbar all over again..Needless to say..it was as good as it was the first time I watched it..I love the way the movie is so long yet not at all lengthy and boring…

My all time favourite animation series, the futuristic phantom riding upon his hypercycle in the futuristic capitalist world run by Maximum corporation..I used love the science fiction and the technology back then and I love it still..I really used to love the way he had his voice activated arms and vehicles, the way cars flew and humans were bionically enhanced..Read more about it here

It was the days of DD2 metro and I still remember this show used to be telecast from 5-00 pm to 5:30 pm on thursdays..I guess it is one show which actually got me really interested with technology..Now come to think of it, it was a mere pulp fiction tv sitcom..but then I really used to wait every day for thursday to come..My favourite character was Malcolm and Kilokawn..I especially loved Malcolm’s all black clothes which actually left a deep impact on my real life dressing sense..I guess thats when I decided I would definitely work with technology for sure..Read more about it here…
